Eastern Bluestar is a classic all-season perennial with attractive foliage turning bright yellow in fall, and its blue star-shaped flowers are abundant throughout May. On the cultivar ‘Storm Cloud,’ these blooms are even more impressive against a backdrop of dark green, silver-veined leaves and impressive black stems. An easy to grow plant, this mounding perennial will accept a variety of soil and light conditions and typically does not require staking.  One of the most ornamental Bluestars, period!
