Eagle Industries is known for making a lot of the simple & robust MOLLE accessories that ended up shaping tactical gear for decades. Many special forces groups still trust EI's gear to this day, as they're known for their modularity and No-BS designs.
The double pistol mag pouch is self explanatory — these are made to hold 2 M9 magazines and have a kydex insert to assist retention. You might immediately be asking: "Can it take Glock mags?"
Yes, and No.
When Ivan tested a fresh pouch with Glock mags they got so hilariously stuck that he ended up resorting to caveman-esque methods to try and get it out... until he realized we have technology and used a heat gun to loosen up the kydex and remove the magazine.
So what should you do that Ivan wasn't able to figure out? Heat up the kydex before you insert a standard double stack Glock mag and let it expand a little. Rinse and repeat until it's not too hard to extract them.
Of course the elephant in the room is the camouflage — these are in the ever-collectible AOR2 pattern that we don't see often on surplus gear. If you're slowly building that clone correct kit, rest assured this is genuine AOR2.
